David is a Chartered Building Surveyor, Corporate Building Engineer and Auditor member of the National Register of Access Consultants.

David has been with CIPFA since January 1999 and has been responsible for the Property offerings of CIPFA since 2003, prior to that he was Senior Project Manager responsible for the Stock Condition Survey and Access Audit Projects.

David has 30 years experience of surveying with a background in both the public and private sector having worked for a number of private practices together with both Cheshire and Essex County Councils.

David is a Chartered surveyor with 29 years experience in the public and private sectors. David has been in his current role for 10 years and is recognised as one of the UK's leading experts on asset management within the public sector. David heads up the team responsible for CIPFA's highly popular property and asset management networks and has been involved in developing and writing a large amount of national guidance, most recently acted as one of the editors on Local Government Asset Management Guidance in England.

Chris is a Chartered surveyor and is our Senior Construction and Property Advisor within the CIPFA group with a remit for promoting best practice in asset management within the Public Sector. This includes the development and delivery of CIPFA's Asset Management Planning Network and Construction and Property Advisory Service, production of best practice briefings in relation to current topics of asset management as well as the provision of specific consultancy projects and interim management support within individual authorities.

Since joining CIPFA in January 2003, Chris has worked with a number of authorities to provide consultancy advice on strategic approaches to asset management, and has also been involved in developing and writing national asset management guidance through the RICS.

Prior to joining CIPFA Chris worked in local government for over 24 years and was involved in strategic asset management for the last 7 years. She was involved in strategic asset management to ensure efficient use, management and occupation of land and buildings.

Jane is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years experience in public sector property management and the property industry. She has worked for a number of local authorities and a national property consultancy dealing with a wide range of property issues, and for the past nine years has been actively involved in strategic asset management. Jane has been with CIPFA Property since July 2008, during which time she has undertaking a number of external consultancy commissions around the effective use of public sector assets, and has delivered various workshops and seminars.

Denise has been with CIPFA since April 1999 and has been responsible for the organisation of the CIPFA Property Networks and Consultancy since 2005, prior to that she was a Business Development Manager responsible for the development of new business relationships and preceding this was the Senior Project Co-ordinator responsible for the coordination and administration of the Property Survey Team in providing Stock Condition Surveys and Access Audit Projects.

Denise has 18 years experience of managing and coordinating professional Property Teams in both the public and private sectors.

Kirsty has been with CIPFA since January 2003 and assists with the marketing and growth of Software, Survey and Network new business in addition to developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Kirsty has 14 years experience in providing support to Company Executives in both public and private sectors whilst playing a key role in developing and maintaining Business Management Systems, Quality Assurance Procedures and Administrative arrangements.

Dawn is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Dawn has been with CIPFA since September 2005 and is responsible for the provision of the day-to-day management and professional direction of Surveyors and other property professionals involved in undertaking various surveys and audit including Property Condition Surveys, Disability Access Audits, Fire Risk Assessment etc. for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Dawn's previous experience includes over 15 years experience in property estate management from within the Food Retail Industry as a Regional Property Manager. Dawn was responsible for all matters of Estate Management in a geographic region, including rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisition, disposals, refurbishments, negotiating appropriate terms with landlords/Agents/Tenants and/or developers.


Phil Dentith

Phil has 15 years experience of software development and support. He joined CIPFA in Feb 2000 initially as a software developer and took over management of the software team in 2003. At this time, Phil took on the main responsibility for the redesign and management of the redevelopment of the AssetManager software to the AssetManager.NET system. Since its release in 2005, Phil has been responsibly for managing the development and support teams to ensure the AssetManager.NET system continues to evolve to meet the changing requirements of Asset Management and Capital Accounting.

Laura has recently joined CIPFA to assist in the management of the Development and Support teams responsible for the AssetManager.NET system. She brings to CIPFA 9 years experience of leading and mentoring teams of developers as well as Programming and Project Management skills. Her initial responsibilities include improving support provided by the CIPFA Property Helpdesk for the AssetManager.NET system.

Lesley has been providing helpdesk support on the Asset Management and Capital Accounting software since joining CIPFA in February 1995. In recent years her vast experiences gained from the support role have allowed her to take on the responsibility of providing training and consultancy on all aspects of the AssetManagemanager.NET system to clients throughout the country. She is also responsible for data migration of both new users of the software and existing users taking on additional modules.
